Elmius Bayage (21), Jimbrif Kogoya (22), Yogi Wenda (20) and Maya Kamarigi (21) were accused of participating in clashes with the military and police on 23 September 2019. Prosecutors sought eight months’ imprisonment for each of them. They were found guilty of violating Article 170 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code on collective violence against persons or objects and sentenced to seven months’ imprisonment on 6 April 2020. They were released on 20 April 2020.
