Isak Wandik and Solak Alitnoe were arrested on 31 August 2018 during a public prayer gathering. The event was accused by the authorities as an inauguration ceremony for the freedom fighters. Both men were sentenced to four years in jail for treason and are currently serving their sentence in Wamena prison.
