Pandra Wenda (18) was arrested for throwing rocks twice along the road and once at a restaurant during an anti-racism protest in Jayapura. He was charged with Article 170 Paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 64 Paragraph (1) of the Indonesian Criminal Code. Prosecutors sought eight months imprisonment for him. He was released on 26 January 2020 because his detention term had finished. The District Court found him guilty of violating Article 170 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code on collective violence against persons or objects and sentenced each of him to six months in jail on 24 February 2020.
