Paskalis Tuturop was arrested with Iginansus Hukhukmana in August 2019. Prosecutors sought one year six months for Paskalis Tuturop and Iginansus Hukhukmana. The two were arrested after participating in a protest in the city of Fakfak. They were found guilty of violating Article 160 on incitement of the Criminal Code and sentenced to one year four months in jail. The verdict for Paskalis Tuturop was delivered on 7 February 2020, while the verdict for Iginansus Hukhukmana was delivered 24 February 2020.
