Daud Matuan (18) was accused of participating in the riot and shot in his right heel. He was arrested and taken into custody on 13 October 2019 while still being treated at a hospital after being operated on. Prosecutors sought one year’s imprisonment for him. The Court ignored the fact that he was still a minor at the time of his arrest. He was found guilty of violating Article 170 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code on collective violence against persons or objects and sentenced to eight months’ imprisonment on 27 March 2020. He was freed on 20 April 2020.
