Yani Magayang (21) was arrested by joint POLRI and TNI who were conducting a road checkpoint in front of KODIM 1715 Post, in Dekai, Yahukimo. The joint security forces were conducting a search inside the car of which he was a passanger. They were going through passangers belongings such as Noken and mobile phones. Yani Magayang threw his/her mobile phone to the ditch in fear. The joint security forces then arrested and interrogated him overnight. After the interrogation, they blindfolded him and flew him to Wamena.
